Water/oil pressurization tests, pressure cycle tests

Test facilities

3 pressure generators are available: two for static pressure tests with water or oil (jack capacity), and one for pressure cycling tests which allows variable rise and drop pressure profiles and adjustable steady state conditions.

Characteristics

Start of pressurization and depressurization simulation to study tank behaviour under fatigue conditions from the first use until end of life. Controlling: hydraulic jacks.
