BADR-6: Another success for the Airbus Defence and Space teams

Airbus Defence and Space, prime contractor for the Ariane 5 ECA launcher and the BADR-6 satellite, has once again achieved a completely successful mission, placing this telecommunications satellite built for Arabsat into orbit during the night of 7 July.

François Auque, CEO of Airbus Defence and Space, has expressed his satisfaction with "this 26th success on the run, fresh proof of the excellence of design and technical and operational maturity of the Ariane 5 ECA launcher."
